[NEWS] Nogizaka46 Cafe in Harajuku
Q Plaza Harajuku located in the heart of Tokyo is welcoming pop group Nogizaka46 with a cafe experience their very own.
Nogizaka46 is teaming up with Area-Q, the “entertainment collaboration cafe” hot spot, to unveil Nogizaka46 Cafe 2015 ~Inochi wa Utsukushi ~ [乃木坂46 カフェ2015~命は美しい~] which will be open for a total of 45 days from March 27th until May 10th. The cafe is set to feature a food and drink menu using recipes created by members of Nogizaka46 along with a variety of exclusive and limited edition goods and merchandise.
While chowing down at the cafe you can browse the many exhibits featuring the members of the bubbly pop group and enjoy personalized messages and music videos played on rotation on monitors around the cafe. Admission to the cafe is 2,700 yen, with an additional 500 yen drink charge. The cafe will be open only to women every Wednesday. Admission includes original food, place mat, coaster, and plastic cup.
Nogizaka46 [乃木坂46], created by producer Yasushi Akimoto, is famously known as AKB48’s official rivals. Nogizaka46 made their debut in 2012 releasing a total of 8 singles since then with their second single Oide Shampoo hitting the top of the weekly Oricon Charts. In recent history the group is most famously known for singing Tsuki no Ookisa [月の大きさ] the opening theme for Naruto: Shippuuden. As of June 2014 Nogizaka46 consists of 34 regular members and 9 understudies (kenkyusei).
