[NEWS] AKB48 Asuka Kuramochi to Make Musical Stage Debut
AKB48′s Asuka Kuramochi is taking the lead in Mitsuboshi Kitchen’s newest musical DREAM.
Kuramochi, who has previously appeared in AKB48-produced plays, will be hitting it on her own as she joins the Mitsuboshi Kitchen cast with what is being billed as a human drama musical. DREAM, which takes place at a local supermarket in a small town near Tokyo, also stars Mayu Musha, Yasuo Takada, KAZZ, Keihi Ichimura, and Toshihiko Ito.
DREAM’s run will last from June 17th to 21st in Tokyo then move to Osaka for June 27th and 28th shows. Tickets are available for purchase now via PlayGuide. For a full schedule of the run please check out the jump.
Asuka Kuramochi born September 11, 1989 in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan is a singer, actress, and a member of the idol group AKB48 under Team K. Her favorite artists include 19, Gospellers, Crazy Ken Band and is known to be a huge fan of Japanese Pro Wrestling star Kenta Kobashi. Kuramochi has ranked Senbatsu twice in her six runs and had bowed out of the seventh annual senbatsu competition.
